      Expression of scfHsp83.T:Zzzz\FLAG results in abnormal morphology of the male X polytene chromosome; the chromosome has a bloated appearance and shows partial loss of its banding pattern. Morphology of the female X polytene chromosome and the polytene autosomes appears normal in animals expressing scfHsp83.T:Zzzz\FLAG.
