B4Scer\UAS.HA; Scer\GAL4da.G32 flies are abnormally small. The eyes of B4Scer\UAS.HA; Scer\GAL4ey.PH flies are small and have fewer ommatidia than wild-type. Clones of B4Scer\UAS.HA; Scer\GAL4GMR.PB cells in the in the eye show a cell-autonomous reduction in photoreceptor cell size and a reduction in cell number. B4Scer\UAS.HA; Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 flies have small wings, but, unlike in the eye, this appears to be due to reduced cell number only: clones of B4Scer\UAS.HA; Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP in the wing disc have reduced cell number but normal cell size.
