      The general branching of the tracheal system is not significantly affected in embryos expressing Blimp-1Scer\UAS.cNa under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS. However, these embryos consistently show constrictions and interruptions along the length of the dorsal tracheal trunk. This phenotype is highly penetrant and shows variable expressivity.
