Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4¹⁴⁰⁷ results in loss of neuroblasts in the larval brain associated with decreased size of the remaining neuroblasts.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4¹⁴⁰⁷ results in a reduction in the average size of neuroblasts together with shorter neuroblast lineages (less daughter cells per neuroblast) in the larval brain compared to controls.

Adults expressing Aac11^GD1338 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) show significantly reduced avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Adults expressing Aac11^GD1338 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) show no significant change in the kinetics of high temperature (46[o]C) induced paralysis compared to control flies.
