Expressing GckIII^GD16418 under the control of Scer\GAL4^C587 (together with Dicer-2, for a more efficient RNAi) does not induce any obvious L3 spermatogenesis defects.

Third instar larvae expressing GckIII^GD16418 under the control of Scer\GAL4^btl.PS exhibit tracheal morphogenesis defects. The terminal cells display a transition zone tube dilation defect.
