UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Class I neuron ddaE neurons expressing Klp61FGD14149 under the control of Scer\GAL4221 (together with Dicer-2 for a more efficient RNAi) show a higher rate of cell body-directed growing microtubules to successfully exit a proximal branch point, but not distal or peripheral branch points. Growing microtubules at proximal branch points, grow more and for longer than controls.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 results in an increase in the average size of neuroblasts in the larval brain compared to controls.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 may result in loss of neuroblasts in the larval brain (depending on the insertion line used).
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 results in shorter neuroblast lineages (less daughter cells per neuroblast) in the larval brain compared to controls.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 may result in mild defects in the shape of ganglion mother cells in the larval brain (depending on the insertion line used).
