UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a fusion protein, comprising amino acid residues 1-170, the predicted TM1-TM3 domains, of Orco with amino acid residues 159-376, the predicted TM4-TM7 domains, of Or43a. The expressed protein is tagged with EGFP at the N-terminus.
