Description

Genomic fragment that encompasses Dimm\osk; includes 5kb upstream of the start codon and extends to the end of the Dimm\osk coding sequence. A 1.6kb HindIII-Asp718 fragment that encodes the osk 3'UTR and downstream sequence is present downstream of the Dimm\osk coding sequence. A M1L amino acid replacement has been introduced into the coding sequence; this renders the transgene incapable of expressing the long isoform of Dimm\osk.
