UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Expression of TpnC41CJF02379 results in decreased jumping ability (with the Scer\GAL4Act79B.PB driver) and moderately increased number of flies that fly abnormally (downward) is observed but the majority of them (close to 70%) does not display any flight defects (with the Scer\GAL41151 driver).
Walking and jumping behaviors are unaffected in flies expressing TpnC41CJF02379 under the control of Scer\GAL4Hk-UH3 (limited to the late stages of development using Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B). Indirect flight muscle fascicles appear completely normal.
Scer\GAL4Act79B.PB, TpnC41CJF02379 has abnormal jump response phenotype, enhanceable by TpnC4KK110436/Scer\GAL4Act88F.PB/Scer\GAL4Act79B.PB
Scer\GAL4Act88F.PB, TpnC41CJF02379, Scer\GAL4Act79B.PB is an enhancer of abnormal jump response phenotype of Scer\GAL4Act79B.PB, TpnC4KK110436
Adult flies expressing both TpnC41CJF02379 and TpnC4KK110436 simultaneously under the combined control of Scer\GAL4Act79B.PB and Scer\GAL4Act88F.PB cannot jump and display severe flight defects with the majority of animals being completely flightless.
