      The oocyte nucleus is mislocalised to the centre of the oocyte in egg chambers of females expressing par-1N1S.Scer\UAS.ΔSP under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16. Microtubules show weak uniform staining throughout the oocyte in these egg chambers, in contrast to wild type, where there is an anterior-posterior gradient of microtubules in the germline.
