      Flies expressing dmΔMB2.Scer\UAS.T:HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PB show a significant increase in average ommatidial area compared to controls.

      Flies expressing dmΔMB2.Scer\UAS.T:HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 show a moderate bending down of the wings.

      Expression of dmΔMB2.Scer\UAS.T:HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 induces apoptosis in the larval wing disc.

      Expression of dmΔMB2.Scer\UAS.T:HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PBb in eyes using the "ey-FLP" system results in an increase in ommatidial size compared to controls, both when the eyes are dm[+] and when they are mutant for dm4.
