    Expression of Lsm11F27A.N28A.T:SV5\V5 in a Lsm11c02047 mutant background fails to restore His3 mRNA processing.

    Expression of Lsm11WT.T:SV5\V5 in a Lsm11c02047 mutant background restores His3 mRNA processing.

    Expression of Lsm11S24A.D25A.T:SV5\V5 in a Lsm11c02047 mutant background restores His3 mRNA processing.

    Homozygous embryos do not display any defects in the somatic musculature. 66.66% of homozygous third instar larvae show a loss of striations in the somatic muscles compared with the regularly spaced striations seen in wild-type muscles. This phenotype is highly variable, both in terms of the number of muscles affected and the extent of the area affected within a muscle.

    Homozygous lethal as nonpaharate adults.
