      The expression of dmΔZ.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PBb in eyes consisting of dm4 homozygous cells (induced using the ey-FLP method) has no affect on ommatidial size but significantly reduces their number.
