        At 33[o]C, resting Ca[2+] concentration is significantly elevated in mutant nerve terminals compared to controls, revealing a profound reduction in the ability to maintain calcium homeostasis. At both 37 and 29[o]C, resting Ca[2+] concentration is above 200nM, yet calcium responses are maintained.
