The larval brain overgrowth exhibited upon expression of brat^HMS01121 under the control of Scer\GAL4^da.PU is partially suppressed when Mfe2^KK101732 is co-expressed. The proportion of defective anaphases seen in larval brains expressing brat^HMS01121 under the control of Scer\GAL4^da.PU is significantly elevated upon co-expression of Mfe2^KK101732, but the level of cell death in these brains does not significantly change. The tumor growth rate of larval brain explants expressing brat^HMS01121 under the control of Scer\GAL4^da.PU is suppressed upon co-expression of Mfe2^KK101732.
