      Expression of CG3961KK102693 under the control of Scer\GAL4Lsp2.3.1 (using tub-Gal80[ts] to limit expression to adulthood) results in increased cell death in germaria but not vitellogenic stage follicles and while it does not affect the proliferation of the germline stem cells it leads to significant increase in the rate of their loss over time.
