Under control conditions, the expression of rtpKK108625 under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG does not significantly affect the number of sensory axons per nerve in third instar larvae, as compared to controls.

Olfactory axons expressing rtpKK108625 under the control of Scer\GAL4Or82a.PF show a delay in the degeneration of axotomized neurons, as many axons still extend near the commissure 24h after the injury, as compared to controls.
