      Expression of azotKK111538 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU prevents the cell elimination normally seen in the 'loser' cells when cell competition is induced through generation of super-competitive dmαTub84B.PBb-expressing clones. Clone removal is delayed in an azotKO heterozygous background.
