Reference

Expression of AP-2σ^JF02631 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ey.PU results in a range of eye defects. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PU results in sluggish 3rd instar larvae which die. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav-C155 results in adult paralysis under 37[o]C conditions. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^Toll-6-D42 leads to normal adults. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav-C155 (and Dicer-2, for efficient RNAi) also leads to a significant increase in the number of boutons at the larval muscle 6/7 NMJs, and leads to a significant decline in EJP amplitude readings upon high-frequency stimulation at 34[o]C conditions even after a 4min rest period, as compared to controls.
