      Flies expressing Cyp4d21dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Cyp4d21.PF are viable, healthy and morphologically indistinguishable from wild-type flies. Locomotor activity is normal in these flies.

      Males expressing Cyp4d21dsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Cyp4d21.PF show a significantly reduced courtship index and a significantly reduced mating success compared to control males.
