Expression of tow^A1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096 at 29[o]C results in a reduction in the intervein region between wing veins 3 and 4 and causes a disruption in anterior patterning of the wing. A multiple wing hair phenotype is also seen.

Expression of tow^A1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^arm.PS results in a proximal fusion of wing veins 3 and 4 and a reduction of the intervein space between them.

The wing phenotypes caused by expression of tow^A1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^arm.PS are relieved in a tow⁷⁵⁴ homozygous background.

Expression of tow^A1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^sd.PU results in a proximal fusion of wing veins 3 and 4 and a multiple wing hair phenotype.

Expression of tow^A1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^hh-Gal4 at 29[o]C has no effect on wing patterning, although the wing has a multiple wing hair phenotype.

Expression of tow^A1.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 results in a partial fusion of wing veins 3 and 4 and a reduction of the intervein space between them.
