      Increased expression of egg421-1261.Scer\UAS.P\T is lethal as ubiquitously overexpressing animals (egg421-1261.Scer\UAS.P\T Scer\GAL4da.G32 homozygotes) die during the pupal stage, while heterozygous individuals survive and are fertile

      Polytene chromosomes of larvae overexpressing egg421-1261.Scer\UAS.P\T driven by Scer\GAL4da.G32 show an aberrant morphology. They appear thickened with unusual constrictions, and the chromocenter looks disorganised and decondensed.
