      Scer\GAL4GMR.PF-driven expression of Mob2Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG results in only subtle changes in the external eye - the arrays of ommatidia are slightly abnormal. Internally, the array of photoreceptor cells is irregular and some photoreceptor cells have multiple rhabdomere domains or lack a rhabdomere at their apical surface.

      At 50% pupal development (PD) of Mob2Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG, Scer\GAL4GMR.PF eyes, the array of photoreceptor cells is slightly abnormal; occasionally,the number of pigment cells is increased, and the size of pigment cells is variable. By 75% PD, the array of photoreceptor cells loses its normal trapezoid form and the shape of some rhabdomeres becomes slightly abnormal.
