Homozygous larvae show mean foraging path lengths on yeast paste which are significantly shorter than those of controls.
The mean path length of homozygous larvae on a non-nutritive agar substrate is also significantly shorter than that of controls, indicating that general locomotion is affected in the mutant larvae.
