      Males depleted for Spn2, through expression of Spn2dsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL, do not significantly differ from controls in the overall number of eggs laid.

      The fertility of females mated to Spn2dsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS-Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL males does not differ significantly from controls.

      Females mated to Spn2dsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS-Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL males show low receptivity to re-mating 24 hours after the initial mating.
