      Expression of CG11876NIG.11876R driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in wing disc overgrowth in mutant third instar larvae. While cells from control wing discs appear dense and filled with enlarged cristae, the mitochondria from cells expressing CG11876NIG.11876R driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E are less dense and display matrix expansions.
