      Ubiquitous expression of cindrdsRNA.PC.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4tub fails to generate an observable adult phenotype.

      Expression of cindrdsRNA.PC.Scer\UAS in the pupal eye (under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF) results in misplacement of cells, misorientation of pattern elements within the ommatidial field, and a variable number of pigment cells. An additional one to two pigment cells surround approximately 23% of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF>cindrdsRNA.PC.Scer\UAS ommatidia.
