      Expression of mir-iab-8Scer\UAS.cTa.T:Disc\RFP-DsRed2 under the control of Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 results in larval and pupal lethality. Some pharate adult females can be obtained, and these show nearly complete haltere-to-wing transformations.

      Clones in the adult abdomen expressing mir-iab-8Scer\UAS.cTa.T:Disc\RFP-DsRed2 under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PC have not been recovered.
