Description

A mutation that deletes amino acid residues 133-157 has been introduced into the nbs coding region using the SIRT (site-specific integrase mediated repeated targeting) technique. The C-terminal Tag:V5 tag found in the nbs434 progenitor is still present, and the attP site has been converted into an attR site (no longer a target for phiC31:int) by the targeting event.
