      The presence of Hsap\ABCB1Scer\UAS.cMa alone, without a Scer\GAL4 driver is sufficient to partially suppress the Mdr65Ex8 mutant phenotype. Expression of Hsap\ABCB1Scer\UAS.cMa in the humoral interface under the control of Scer\GAL4SPG fully restores wild-type levels of Rhodamine B transport in Mdr65Ex8 mutant heads.
