Expression of Mmus\AhrScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4rn-GAL4 (in the absence of dioxin) has no effect on leg morphogenesis. However, when these flies are exposed to dioxin, abnormal legs are produced.

Expression of Mmus\AhrScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU (in the absence of dioxin) has little effect on eye morphogenesis. However, when these flies are exposed to dioxin, eye defects are seen, including fused ommatidia and enlarged bristles.

Expression of Mmus\AhrScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4rn-GAL4 can partially rescue the loss of tarsal segments seen in the legs of sssta/ssabr flies. A greater degree of rescue is seen if the flies are exposed to dioxin.

Flies co-expressing tgoScer\UAS.cWa and Mmus\AhrScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4rn-GAL4 (in the absence of dioxin) show defects in the leg.

Flies co-expressing tgoScer\UAS.cWa and Mmus\AhrScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU (in the absence of dioxin) show eye defects, with fused ommatidia and enlarged bristles.

Flies co-expressing Vvvv\ArntScer\UAS.cCa and Mmus\AhrScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4rn-GAL4 (in the absence of dioxin) show defects in the leg.
