      Many of the early cleavage divisions during embryogenesis are normal in animals expressing cnnPG.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16, however, there are a significant number of aberrant early cleavage divisions (the tubulin midbodies are aberrant and segregation of DNA is either impaired or blocked) which must either be resolved over time or aneuploid nuclei must be eliminated from the cortex prior to cellularisation, as there is no significant reduction in fertility caused by expression of cnnPG.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16.
