      Expression of Hsap\ARQ66.E897K.Scer\UAS in the salivary gland under the control of Scer\GAL4fkh.PH suppresses the phenotype normally seen upon expression of polyglutamine-expanded Hsap\AR molecules with dihydrotestosterone.

      Expression of Hsap\ARQ66.E897K.Scer\UAS in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF in the presence of dihydrotestosterone does not result in a degenerative eye phenotype.

      Expression of Hsap\ARQ66.E897K.Scer\UAS in all neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 in the presence of dihydrotestosterone results in increased viability compared to expression of Hsap\ARQ52.Scer\UAS, as evidenced by more flies surviving to the pupal stage.
