Expression of ham^HMS00470 in immature Intermediate Neural Progenitors (imINPs) under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR9D11 causes formation of mira[+], ase[-] cells that are not seen in controls. The numbers of mature INPs and Gangion mother cells (GMCs) are increased and 2.3 fold more mitotic INPs are seen.

Intermediate Neural Progenitors (INPs) in larval brains expressing ham^HMS00470 under the control of Scer\GAL4^insc-Mz1407 fail to transition from "middle-aged" to "old".
