Females expressing DNApol-η^HMS00290 via Scer\GAL4^{nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16} produce embryos where both parental sets of chromosomes fail to condense normally in metaphase and systematically form a chromatin bridge in anaphase. DNA replication is not entirely disrupted.
