UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a short inverted repeat.
eye, with Scer\GAL4ey.PH
Expressing ash1HMS00582 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA leads to fragmented mitochondria in the third instar larval fat body (as assessed by MitoGFP).
Expression of ash1HMS00582 results in partial pupal lethality - the escapers display small deformed eyes (with Scer\GAL4ey.PH) and blistered wing with ectopic vein formation at posterior crossvein (PCV) at 25[o]C, while no phenotype is observed at 18[o]C (with Scer\GAL4nub.PK). Expression controlled by Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI is lethal and pupal lethal with the Scer\GAL4en.PU driver - at 18[o]C a few escapers can be recovered and these have ectopic vein at PCV.
