      Flies expressing kinase-dead hppyK55E.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 do not exhibit wing bristle cell loss.

      Overexpression of hppyK55E.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4e22c in the posterior compartment of the developing wing disc does not result in the appearance of TUNEL-positive cells, indicating hppyK55E.Scer\UAS expression does not induce cell death.
