      ms(3)K81HipHop.T:Avic\GFP produced in the soma is sufficient to rescue the lethality of HipHopunspecified, with many animals developing into adults. Up to 5% of the expected class survives as adults, with the rest dying as pharate adults or soon after eclosion.

      Mitotic chromosomes from HipHopunspecified mutant neuroblasts rescued by ms(3)K81HipHop.T:Avic\GFP display an increased number of telomere fusions compared with wild-type controls.
