Expression of CG3349^KK103387 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Abd-B.D1 has no apparent effect on the morphology of the secondary cells in male accessory glands but wild-type mates of these knock-down males lay fewer eggs and display defects in post-mating receptivity suppression - the females become receptive for re-mating sooner (by 4 days after start of mating) than when mated with wild-type males.
