      Expression of Top1Scer\UAS.cJa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 using a strongly expressed insertion line results in death during the first or second larval instar. Expression of Top1Scer\UAS.cJa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 using a weakly expressed insertion line allows the animals to survive to adulthood.

      Co-expression of Top1Scer\UAS.cJa strongly suppresses the eye defects caused by expression of B52Scer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU; 96% of eyes are wild type, and 4% show slight disorganisation in the double mutants.
