      Expression of P5CDh1Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mRFP using Scer\GAL4da.G32 results in lethality shortly after the first larval instar stage, or pupal lethality after an extended (~20 day) third larval instar stage, depending on the particular P{UAS-P5CDh1.mRFP} insertion used. Proline content and mitochondrial morphology appear normal in these animals.
