Expression of MEP-1GL00319 results in very slight rough eye phenotype (with Scer\GAL4GMR.PF) and very occasional ectopic venation in the anterior wing (with Scer\GAL4nub.PK), Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI-driven expression is viable with slightly deformed wings. No overt adult phenotype is observed with either Scer\GAL4ey.PH or Scer\GAL4en.PU.
Expression of MEP-1GL00319 under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 does not significantly increase the frequency of undercondensed chromosomes in mature oocytes compared to controls.
