Description

UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of full-length Antp. The YPWM motif has been mutated to AAAA, and the naturally occurring long linker (8 amino acid residues) is present between the mutated motif and the homeodomain. A WRPW repressor motif has been fused to the C-terminal end of the protein.

      Expression of AntpAAAA.LL.WRPW.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Dll.PU results in loss of the arista and the presence of numerous tarsal bristles on the antenna.
