      Expression of fkhScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU does not result in the formation of ectopic salivary glands in additional segments in the embryo. In addition, high level of fkhScer\UAS.cMa expression under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU disrupts the invagination of the salivary glands that normally from in parasegment 2.
