Expression of Amel\bsCAMIg7A-SD.Scer\UAS using Scer\GAL4eg-Mz360 does not disrupt commissure axon guidance. Posterior commissure neurons cross the midline normally.
Expression of Amel\bsCAMIg7A-SD.Scer\UAS using Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 induces loss of alpha, alpha' and other lobes in mushroom bodies of both hemispheres in 44% of adults examined. Axons appear to form large clumps with only a single lobe extending toward the midline in several cases.
