      Expression of ScrW1A.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 ubiquitously throughout the embryo under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS does not result in ectopic hairs similar to those found in the first thoracic (T1) segment (the T1 beard) in additional segments.
