      Expression of SelRScer\UAS.cSa under the control of either Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL, Scer\GAL4elav-C155, Scer\GAL4fat or Scer\GAL4da.G32 has no significant effect on lifespan.

      Expression of SelRScer\UAS.cSa under the control of either Scer\GAL4da.G32 or Scer\GAL4elav-C155 conditions has no significant effect on lifespan under dietary restriction.

      Flies expressing SelRScer\UAS.cSa under the control Scer\GAL4elav-C155 show the same resistance to oxidative stress induced by paraquat and the same resistance to starvation as do control flies.
