      Ubiquitous overexpression of fa2hScer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL increases the ratio of fatty acid hydroxylated to non-hydroxylated sphingolipids, but does not result in hydroxylation of phospholipid fatty acid moieties.
