Expression of gbb^Scer\UAS.mNS under the control of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544 results in 64% viability. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^hh.PU results in 18% viability, while expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^ci.PU or Scer\GAL4^dpp.blk1 results in either lethality or 99% viability, respectively. Wings from adult survivors show blistered and ectopic venation phenotypes.
