      Ectopic expression of Bmor\atoScer\UAS.cYa along the anterior-posterior wing disc compartment boundary leads to the formation of a few ectopic chordotonal organs near vein 3 on the adult wing.

      Broad overexpression of Bmor\atoScer\UAS.cYa in the developing eye epithelium under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in 'rough' adult eyes, indicating that the ordered packing of the ommatidia is disrupted. Bmor\atoScer\UAS.cYa expression induces supernumerary R8 neurons.
